NSW: Police warn of strike action if pay demand not me
NSW police warn they'll consider striking .. if the state government doesn't double
its 2.5 per cent pay offer.
Police Association president BOB PRITCHARD says the offer's an insult .. and police
will keep leaving the force if the government can't match the inflation rate of around
five per cent.
He says over 12 hundred officers have left the job since last year's state election
.. and more will go unless the government improves wages and conditions.
